Trip to Lawton Kentucky
Something to plan for someday.
Des Moines to Lexington KY is 9 hours 50 minutes
Lexington to Olive Hill is 1 hour 22 minutes
So 11 hours 12 minutes
Lawton is on the way to Olive Hill.
So if we stayed in Lexington, the drive could be 1 day.
Things to see along the way:
> French Lick, Indiana Birthplace of Larry Bird (maybe a little out of the way)
Looks like driving through Indy and Louisville if we choose. On the interstates.
Would intersect with a portion of Route 66
